A really good inn. The food is personally prepared by the chef and is totally delicious. A super tartare or delicious rump steaks I can only highly recommend. Everything was very personal and there is a regular's table, which is visited every day. We are regular customers there!

Were twice in a few months each four people eat. Both times the first plate was empty for a long time before the 4th meal came. Somehow the kitchen does not manage to cook the food for 4 people in a timely manner. If you eat together you want to eat together! Schnitzel and steak were bad meat quality, partly tough meat, also tasted "not succeeded". There are enough alternatives around Rodau; we will not be back.

Cozy country restaurant with butcher shop. The food is very good. After a hike in the Odenwald, many hikers return here. There is homemade sausage and also a warm card.
